We once again have movement in our track schedule. Sully Buttes has moved their track meet from Tuesday April 16th to Monday April 15th. The start time will be 10:30 AM. So, our Varsity Track Team will now be going to Onida on Monday.
Our Middle School Track Team will still be attending the Middle School meet in Ipswich on Monday the 15th. This meet will begin at 2:00.
Monday will be a busy day for the track program!

UPDATED DATES!!!
Spring is HERE and we want to celebrate with a spirit week! We hope you join us in the activities during the week of APRIL 29-MAY 3. Monday- Athlete vs Mathlete. Find your pocket protectors or favorite jersey. Tuesday- Elementary will get a tasty treat at the end of the day from Monarchs Who Care. MS/HS replace your backpack with anything else to bring your belongings in. Wednesday- Wacky Wednesday. Dress as wacky as you can! Thursday- Thoughtful Thursday. Put a kind note in someone's locker or on their desk. Friday- Career Day for elementary. Dress like what you want to be when you grow up. Freaky Friday for MS/HS dress like your teacher and teachers dress like a student.
The 3rd and 4th grade South Dakota Pageant will be a virtual production this year. As soon as the recording is complete, a link will be sent out so that you will be able to view it at your convenience. All the wonderful projects for our South Dakota unit will be displayed at the Elementary Music Concert on May 2nd.

With the Ipswich Track Meet for Tuesday April 9th being cancelled, the Warner Monarch Varsity Track team will now head to Onida to participate in the Sully Buttes Early Bird Invitational. This meet will be held on Tuesday April 9th, with field events beginning at 2:30, and running events at 4:00.

April Calendar
The Scrubs Camp that is supposed to be held in Aberdeen tomorrow for students has been postponed to a later date.
Good evening Warner School Community, due to current road conditions, strong winds, and blowing snow; we will have a 10:00am start Tuesday March 26, 2024. The later start will allow time for snow removal, plowing of roads, and additional travel time getting to school. Buses will travel where possible, with the Sale Barn bus picking up students between 8:30 and 8:40am. All other pick-up times will be around 90 minutes later than normal. Again, Warner Schools will have a 10:00am start on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.

Warner School Community, due to the forecast for more snow and high winds over night and into the day tomorrow, coupled with the Winter Storm Warning in effect throughout the day. The combination of those weather concerns will make travel difficult and hazardous. So, Warner School District will have No School, Monday March 25, 2024.
All scheduled activities will be canceled and the building will be closed for the day.

The All-State Band Concert this weekend (tomorrow) in Pierre has been bumped up to a 12:00 start time for the performance.
The Concert will be airing on South Dakota Public Broadcasting.
