The following school board positions will become vacant due to the expiration of the present terms of office of the following school board members.

Circulation of nominating petitions may begin on March 1, 2023 and petitions may be filed in the office of the business manager located at the Warner School between the hours of 8:30 a.m. CDST and 3:30 p.m. CDST not later than the 28th day of March, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. or mailed by registered mail not later than the 28th day of March, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.

The Warner Monarch Girls Basketball Team will play the Wall Lady Eagles on Thursday at 6:30 CT at Stanley County High School. More details to come tomorrow.

Please join us tonight in Webster as the Warner Monarchs Girls Basketball Team will take on the Hitchcock-Tulare Lady Patriots with a spot in the SoDak 16 up for grabs. The game will be held at the Webster Armory. This 3rd and final round of Region 1B will tipoff at 6:00 PM tonight. Doors will open at 5:00 PM. If you are unable to make it tonight to Webster, the games will be livestreamed on Youtube (search Bearcats.tv). Ticket prices for the game are $6.00/Adults and $4.00/Students. These prices are set by the SDHSAA.

The Jr K thru 5th will be celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday by Dress Up Days.
Tomorrow night (Sunday Feb. 26th) at 7:00 PM there will be a Welcome Home celebration for the Warner-Northwestern Wild Monarchs wrestling team. The event will take place in the Warner Arena.
The Warner Monarch Girls Basketball team will travel to Webster on Monday night (Feb. 27th) and play the Hitchcock-Tulare Lady Patriots with a spot in the SoDak 16 up for grabs. The Monarchs will tipoff at 6:00 PM at the Webster Armory.
Your Warner Monarchs Boys Basketball Team will host the Waverly-South Shore Coyotes on Tuesday Feb. 28th in the Warner Arena. Tipoff will be set for 7:00 PM.
Please join us in the Warner Arena as your Warner Monarchs Girls Basketball Team will host the Langford Lions in the 2nd Round of the Region 1B Girls Basketball Tournament. The game will start at 5:00. Ticket prices are $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for students (as set by the SDHSAA - Warner Activity passes will not be accepted).

Weekly Update for next week!
Attached is the schedule for the Rozell JH Basketball Jamboree that will be held tomorrow in both the Warner Arena and Old Gym. Admission is $5.00 for Adults and $3.00 for Students.
Due to our challenging weather the last two days making travel difficult and extremely cold overnight temperatures, we will have a 10:00am start Friday February 24, 2023. The late start will give busses, staff and students extra time to get to school on the difficult roads. The Sale Barn bus will arrive at the Sale Barn around 8:35am, there will be no BeforeCare and breakfast will not be served.
Again, Warner Schools will have a 10:00am start, Friday February 24, 2023.
Today is the first day of the 2023 State Wrestling Meet being held in Rapid City. The Warner-Northwestern Wild Monarchs had four wrestlers qualify - Clayton Dulany, Charlie Dulany, Alex Pudwill, and Preston Cavalier. Due to increasing snow fall, dangerously strong winds, hazardous travel conditions, falling temperatures, and a blizzard warning through noon, there will be No School in Warner Thursday February 23, 2023. All activities scheduled for Thursday will be postponed or canceled; this includes all practices and events.
Again No School in Warner on Thursday, February 23, 2023.
The Warner Girls Basketball team will play Saturday night at 5:00 in the Warner Arena. They will play the winner of #8 Langford vs. #9 Waverly-South Shore (playing Friday at 3:30 in Langford).
The winner of the game Saturday night will play at 6:00 Monday night in Webster at the Armory.
Due to ongoing difficult weather conditions and tomorrow's forecast for more of the same, if not worse. There will be No School in Warner for Wednesday February 22, 2023. All activities scheduled for tomorrow are postponed or cancelled and will be rescheduled if possible. Again, No School in Warner on Wednesday February 22, 2023.

Due to the current falling snow and forecasted increasing winds, Warner School District will dismiss at 2:20pm Tuesday February 21, 2023. There will be no after school activities, no After Care, no Wrestling or Basketball practices.

Due to impending weather, the Warner Girls Basketball team will not be playing tomorrow night. All Region 1B Girls Basketball games will be postponed until Saturday, with time TBD. The Warner girls will play the winner of #8 Langford vs. #9 Waverly-South Shore (being played tonight).
The 3rd and final round of Regions will be held next Monday (Feb. 27th) in Webster.
