Thursday's Act of Kindness was to thank Glen for all that he does around the school. There were a lot of Thank You cards on his door by the end of the day! He appreciates all the cards. We appreciate you Glen!
Good luck to the Warner Monarch Football team as they will face off against the Faulkton Trojans in a LRC Football Matchup. This game is the second game tonight of the Lake Region Conference Football Classic. The first game will be Northwestern vs. Waverly-South Shore, with kickoff being at 5:00 PM. The second matchup will be Warner vs. Faulkton (kickoff will be 10-20 minutes after the first game). Tomorrow at 1:00, it will be Leola-Frederick vs. Ipswich.
All games will be located on the campus of Northern State University, at Dacotah Bank Stadium.
Cost of admission is $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for students (good for both games on Friday). Passes will not be accepted. If you are unable to make it tonight, the game will be broadcasted by Hub City Radio on KSDN 930 AM as well as 102.1 FM. A livestream will be available at hubcityradio.com.
Along with the football game, both the Warner Monarch and Faulkton Trojan Pep Bands will also be performing.

Good luck to the Warner Monarch Junior High Football team as they host Hitchcock-Tulare tonight at 6:00. The game will be livestreamed at https://www.warner.k12.sd.us/
The Warner Monarch Football team will be on the road tonight as they travel to Castlewood to face the Warriors in Class 9A action. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM. At this time, there is no radio broadcast or livestream, but we will update if any option is brought forward.

We are so honored to help a local family who has been going through a very scary time right now - The Murano family found out recently their youngest, Charlie, has a rare form of cancer in his brain and spine. On Tuesday, September 26 at our home volleyball game against Warner we will be collecting a free will offering and proceeds from the tailgate will be given to the family to help offset the many, many medical bills and expenses they have. Abby Murano coached volleyball in Warner for several years, so we thought this would be the perfect time to come together for a great cause!

The Junior High will be playing in the old gym. 7th Grade will begin play at 5:15, and be followed by the 8th graders at approxiately 6:30.

It will be a busy day for Warner Monarch athletics as the JH and JV Football teams will be in action, as well as the JV and Varsity Volleyball teams.
JV Football will head to Gettysburg to participate in the Gettysburg Football Jamboree. At 9:35, the Monarchs will take on Stanley County, with the team then playing Leola-Frederick at 10:45, followed by Potter County at 11:55.
The Monarch JH Football team will be hosting the Chuck Welke Memorial Jamboree. Cost is $3.00 for students, and $5.00 for adults. The Monarchs will play Hitchcock-Tulare at 9:00, Northwestern at 10:00, and Britton-Hecla at 11:00.
The JV and Varsity Volleyball teams will head to Arlington tomorrow for the Arlington Invitational. The Warner Varsity will play Faulkton at 10:00, Burke at 11:00, Elkton/Lake Benton at 2:00, and Deubrook at 3:00. JV will play Elkton/Lake Benton at 9:45, Deubrook at 10:30, and Arlington at 12:45.

M-O-N-A-R-C-H-S, Monarchs, Monarchs are the BEST!! It's spirit day around the school as the kids prepare for the Homecoming parade and the FB game tonight! Show your Monarch Spirit at the Homecoming Parade starting at 1:30 on Main Street. The FB game with Potter County starts at 7:00 p.m. Just a reminder that there will be no entry fee to the game as we will only be accepting donations for the Hartung Family from Hoven. The Monarchs Volleyball teams have their first home match of the season tonight against Northwestern. JH games start at 5:15 in the Warner Gym. Today the preschoolers visited the library for the 1st time. They enjoyed the book "Don't let the Pigeon Drive the Bus" and making the art project. Thank you to my 5th grade helpers for assisting with the project.
Good morning Monarchs! We will have donation buckets at the entrance of the football game Friday night for the Hartung Family. For those of you that may not know, the Hartung's live in Hoven and their 14 year old son, Jaxon, is going through cancer treatments at the Mayo Clinic. Jaxon has cousins that attend Warner.
We have been contacted by some awesome members of our community that want to help. There will be a group that is covering all of the admission so any money at the gate will be able to go in the donation buckets. We also have Dial-A-Move and Aldersgate Church each matching all donations up to $1,000.00. Thank you for helping in any way you can!!!
Congratulations to Zane Baum and Ava Nilsson on being voted as our Homecoming King and Queen by their peers! Also, congrats to Hunter Cramer, Tristan Gosch, Alex Pudwill, Brodey Sauerwein, Lauren Marcuson, Nevaeh Lesnar, Cassidy Hardie, and Courtney Bjorgaard for being voted into the Royalty Court by their class.
