The Girls Basketball C and JV teams will be heading to Milbank to take on the Bulldogs. Games will be held at 5:00 and 6:00, with the C Team playing first. The Junior High Boys Basketball team will be heading to Redfield to take on the Pheasants. The first game will be held at 6:00 (6th/7th Grade), with the second game being at 7:00 (8th grade). There will be no livestream available.
The Warner-Northwestern Wild Monarchs will head to Ipswich to wrestle in the Ipswich/Bowdle Middle School & Junior Varsity Wrestling Round. Wrestling will begin at 5:30 at Ipswich High School.

We have an adjustment in our schedule tonight for the basketball doubleheader. Due to low numbers, we will now only play three quarters for the JV Girls Game. To stay on schedule, we will move the boys JV Game to the Warner Arena, and play the JV Girls Game in the Welke Gym. Both games will still start at 5:00.
Once again, JV Girls will now be in the Welke Gym and only play three quarters. Boys JV will be in the Warner Arena now, with both games starting at 5:00.

It is I Love Summer Night in the Warner Arena tonight as the Monarchs host the Britton-Hecla Braves in doubleheader basketball action. Both JV games will start at 5:00 with the girls playing in the Arena, and the boys playing in the Welke Gym. Girls Varsity will tipoff at approximately 6:30, and be followed by the boys Varsity game.

Congratulations to the cast and crew of the Warner Monarch One Act Play. With their production of Jack vs. Jill, the Warner One Act Play qualified for the State One Act Festival! They will perform in Brookings on February 7th at 6:15. Preston Cavalier, Addisyn Heinrich, Laura Robinson, Jenessa Carda, Drew Bakeberg, Jordyn Jensen, and Rylan Evenson all received outstanding actor awards! With recent events surrounding the school and community, we felt it was timely to announce the establishment of the Warner Monarch Hall of Fame. We will recognize individuals in 4 categories (Academics/Achievements, Athletics, Fine Arts, and Distinguished Service), with as many as 3 individuals/groups from each category being selected annually. A link has been installed on the main webpage for the Hall of Fame, and within that initial page you can find the nomination form. The form is relatively simple with the most important part being why you are nominating them. From now until March 15; we will be accepting nominations for the inaugural Hall of Fame Class. Final selections will be made prior to mid-April with formal announcements being made at our Spring Awards. Due to extreme cold, we are cancelling all activites for tonight in the Warner School. The Junior High Boys Basketball games vs. Roncalli are cancelled, along with all high school/middle school/youth practices. The gyms are off limits for the night.
The Humanity Launch Commumity Event will now be held tomorrow night at 7:00 in the Warner Arena, after the Girls C Game vs. Clark-Willow Lake.
