The Bracket is set for the SDHSAA Class 9A Football Playoffs. The Warner Monarchs are the #3 Seed, and will host the Gayville-Volin Raiders on Thursday Oct. 24th at 7:00 PM at BankNorth/Dial-A-Move Field. As set by the SDHSAA, Warner Activity Passes and LRC passes will not be permitted. The Warner Monarchs went 8-0 during the regular season, and finished as the Lake Region Conference Champions for 2024. More details to come later this week regarding livestream, radio broadcasts, etc. for the 9A First Round. GO MONARCHS!!!!

Good luck to the Warner Monarch Oral Interp. team as they will participate in the Golden Eagle Oral Interp. Invitational in Aberdeen. The event will take place at Aberdeen Central. Good luck to the Warner Monarch Volleyball Team as they will be heading to Redfield for the Redfield Pheasants Volleyball Classic. The Monarchs will play Florence-Henry at 9:00 on Court B, and then Timber Lake at 10:00 on the same court. It is Pool Play, so the third match will be dependent upon other matches. Kickoff is set for 7:00, with Junior High playing at 5:00. This will be the last regular season game for the season. For Warner students in grades 6-12 that are interested in Wrestling, there will be a meeting at 6:15 PM in the lunchroom on Tuesday October 22nd.

Get your Monarch Hats!! Football is selling "Branded Bills" hats with different Warner logos on them. Hats #1 and #2 are snap back. Hats #3 and #4 are velcro back. They are NOT fitted. One size fits most! Hats are $30.00. We have 40 hats of both #1 and #2. We have 50 hats of both #3 and #4. Hats are available for purchase in the Warner School office starting Wednesday, October 16th at 8:00 a.m.

The 7th grade science class has been learning all about the cells and cell organelles. They made models of cells using fruit and pie crust.

Please join us tonight in the Warner Arena and Welke Gym as the Warner Monarch Volleyball program hosts the Pheasants of Redfield. In the Welke Gym, the 7th Grade will play at 5:15 and be followed by the 8th grade game. In the Warner Arena, the C Team will play at 5:15, JV at 6:30, and then be followed by the Varsity Game. Good Luck to our band students that are participating in the Northwestern Middle School Music Festival today in Mellette! A community performance will be held in Mellette at the school at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for students.
